Conference Writers Wanted!

Headquarters needs volunteers to write brief summaries of several panels, newsmakers and workshops at this year’s conference in Lake Charles, La. Writers should focus on key points of the conference session and submit 300-500-word reviews for publication on OWAA’s Web site, in the Tech-E-Letter or in Outdoors Unlimited. Becoming an Outdoors Communicator Workshop

OWAA will kickoff its 79th annual conference in Lake Charles, La., by offering a free, half-day workshop titled "How to Become an Outdoors Communicator," Saturday, June 17, from 8 a.m.-noon, at the L'Auberge du Lac. More...


Fishing License Waiver

Registered conference attendees can obtain a three-day fishing license waiver from the Louisiana Dept. of Wildlife & Fisheries. Applications must be received by May 15, 2006.


Photo Critique Session

Critics: Mike Francis and Tom Ulrich, photographers, and Chris Madson, editor, Wyoming Wildlife.

Have OWAA's most discerning eyes critique your photos. Critics will discuss strengths, weaknesses and photos' publishability.
